Being curator of the first week

I’m supposed to write an article about my experience on the first week as curator.

This is exciting since I was the first curator of the account. I have been thinking about this for a while trying to sum up the experience in couple of words and couldn't find better than "culturally nourishing" experience.

The bonding that happened with other curators, other humans during the week who became friends to me later on, the feeling that I represent my country in the eyes of other curators (now I'm exaggerating, right?)

I have seen something I already knew (but seeing something with your own eyes is different from just knowing) that we all, as humans, suffer in the same way and are pleased by the same thing, that deep down we aren’t different from each other, even proverbs are similar from a country to another (except perhaps some difference in expression but the essence of the proverb is still the same).

I have seen the problems other countries suffer, other people suffer as well as their happiness and even learnt about the solutions of some of my own problems and the problems our country is going through by talking to other people in other countries.

This has been an eye-opening experience, a mind-broadening one that I was pleased to be the first to lead and honoured to go through.

This wasn’t a boring article, right? :D
